Monkey Adventure Walks
Residing in proximity to long-tailed macaques can pose challenges, such as them entering your garden or house, or even approaching you while walking to school. Participating in a "Monkey Adventure Walk" allows us to instruct you on appropriate responses when encountering macaques, whether indoors or outdoors. We guide you through understanding troop dynamics, identifying males and females, and fostering a deeper understanding of macaques, alleviating any fears. Sign up for a monkey walk now!
The walks are held at Panaga camp. Suitable for children. Walk usually starts at 17.00, starting with a presentation followed by a walk and ends around 18.15
Walks are at your own risk.
Bear in mind that the monkeys are WILD animals, and we coexist in their natural habitat. While on the monkey walk, we will observe them from a distance and refrain from causing any harm or disturbance. We are following the Primate Watching Guidelines. (Find our poster here Primate watching)
